Q: How much are your lessons?
A: Our lessons are set at $21 per session, paid in advance on a monthly basis. All customers are on Direct Debit.For example, 4-week month would be $84.00* and a 5-week month would be $105.00*.*The stated prices are set monthly fees regardless of cancellation and/or missed lessons.These prices are subject to change. We will always adjust your fees should your swimming day fall on a public holiday.
Q: What happens if we cannot make it to our scheduled lesson?
A: Should your child be unable to attend their permanently booked swimming lesson, for ANY reason, you must notify Holsworthy Aquatic Centre at least 1 hour prior to the lesson time. You can cancel by calling us or cancel through the iClassPro App. You will then have the opportunity to make up that class within 21 days, subject to availability. Please check our terms and conditions on the iClassPro App.
Q: Is there a joining fee?
A: A joining fee of $25 will be charged per child. This fee includes a swimming bag and your first swimming cap. This is a lifetime membership, regardless if you decided to leave and return to us at a later date. If you are in the Defence Force, the joining fee is waived.
Q: How are your classes run?
A: All our teachers follow a set lesson procedure. If you have any queries about the lesson, or your child’s development relating to their swimming skills, please do not hesitate to ask either the teacher or the on deck supervisor.
Q. How many children are in each class?
A. Our Aquababies classes have a maximum of 8 students/ parents in each class. Our beginner independent classes have a maximum of 4 to a class. As your child progresses through our levels and becomes more skilled in the water, our classes sizes increase to 5 for Dolphins, 6 for Lobsters and 8 for Tadpoles.
Q. How is my child's progress recorded?
A. Our Supervisors update every student's level certificate on a rotational basis, focusing on one level each week as per our Certificate Schedule. The Instructors or Supervisors will mark off the student's progress certificate. Once the student's certificate is completed, the Supervisor will then have a look at their swimming and provide feedback or progress them to the next level of our program.
Q: My child isn’t toilet trained, what is your policy?
A: All children who are currently not toilet trained – MUST WEAR A PAIR OF APPROVED SWIMMING PANTS, under their swim suit.
These are available from reception. We do NOT allow any disposable nappies in our waters.
Change mats are available on poolside and in the change rooms. All dirty nappies should be disposed of in the bins provided.
Q: Are your pools heated?
A: Yes, The pools are heated all year round.
Q. How is payment processed?
Our centre is Direct Debit only.

Q. How do I enrol at your centre?
A. You are able to enrol into lessons at Holsworthy Aquatic Centre at any time. Enrolment can be completed over the phone or in person at the centre. Payment is needed upon booking.
Q. Do you open through the School Holidays?
A. Yes, Holsworthy Aquatic Centre is open all year round, including School Holidays. We are closed on public holidays, and for two weeks during the Christmas/ New Years period.
Holsworthy Aquatic Centre offers Holiday Intensive programs in addition to our regular Learn to Swim lessons during the School Holidays.
