Q: How much are your lessons?
A: All our 30 minute learn to swim lessons are priced at $21.50 per lesson, paid monthly in advance via Direct Debit. For example:- 4-week month totals $86.00- 5-week month totals $107.50

Q: What happens if we cannot make it to our scheduled lesson?
A: If your child cannot attend their permanently booked swimming lesson for any reason, please notify Holsworthy Aquatic Centre at least 1 hour before the lesson start time. You can cancel by calling us or through the iClassPro App.
You will then have the opportunity to make up the missed class within 21 days, subject to availability. For full details, please refer to our terms and conditions available on the iClassPro App.

Q: Is there a joining fee?
A: Yes, there is a $25 joining fee per child. This fee includes a swimming bag and your child’s first swimming cap. The joining fee is a lifetime membership, meaning it only applies once—even if you leave and return later.

Q: How are your classes run?
A: All our teachers follow a structured lesson plan to ensure consistent and effective skill development. If you have any questions about the lesson or your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to speak with the teacher or the on-deck supervisor.
Q. How many swimmers are in each class?
A: Our Aquababies classes have a maximum of 8 students and parents per class. Beginner independent classes have a maximum of 4 students per class. As your child progresses and gains skills, class sizes increase to:
4 swimmers for Goldfish & Adolescent5 swimmers for Dolphins6 swimmers for Lobsters8 swimmers for Tadpoles
4 swimmers for our Adult classesThis ensures the right balance between individual attention and group learning.
Q. How is my child's progress recorded?
A: Our Supervisors update each student’s level certificate on a rotational basis, focusing on one level each week according to our Certificate Schedule. Supervisors mark off stars on the student’s skills certificate during lessons, this can be tracked via our iclasspro app.
Once a certificate is completed, the Supervisor progresses them to the next level in our program.
Q: My child isn’t toilet trained, what is your policy?
A: All children who are not yet toilet trained must wear an approved resuable swim nappy under their swimsuit. We have resuable swim nappies available for purchase at reception.Please note: Disposable nappies are not allowed in the pool water.
Change mats are provided poolside and in the change rooms for your convenience. All used nappies should be disposed of in the bins provided to maintain a clean environment.

Q: Are your pools heated?
A: Yes, our pools are heated all year round to ensure a comfortable swimming experience regardless of the season.
Q. How is payment processed?
A: Our centre accepts payments via Direct Debit. Please note that a 1.5% surcharge applies to VISA or MASTERCARD credit card transactions.
Q. How do I enrol at your centre?
A: You can enrol in lessons at Holsworthy Aquatic Centre anytime. Enrolment can be completed over the phone or in person at the centre. Please note that payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Q. Do you open through the School Holidays?
A. Yes, Holsworthy Aquatic Centre is open all year round, including School Holidays. We are closed on public holidays, and for two weeks during the Christmas/ New Years period.
Holsworthy Aquatic Centre offers Holiday Intensive programs in addition to our regular Learn to Swim lessons during the School Holidays.
